I have failed and failed some more on this weight loss thing, but I am bound to get it figured out. I can not find the motivation that I am lacking.
My best friend from High School, and still currently my best friend, has been working out and running. He has been actually running in some races.
He asked me to join him for the STL Tough Mudder, which was suppose to be in April. I had not started training when he called to say Tough Mudder got pushed back to September. But he did make me aware of the Sand Mine Challenge, but it is in Feb.
Needless to say, I would really like to run in both of them with him. He has been a great friend, and I do not get to spend much time with him. Would be great to run with him.
So I have some motivation now, hopefully. Really wanting to run in the one in Feb, and get in better shape so I can kick some ass in the Tough Mudder.

Friday 09/07/2012 - Afternoon Snack
My lite lunch was not holding me over. So I sprung for an afternoon snack.

Lunch in the cafeteria was not much to choose from. Their main course was a bake potatoe bar, which took place of most of the stuff for the salad bar. Not have much to choose from I got a salad again, but did not have many extras this time.
Small salad (bacon bits, lite croutons, jalepenos, olives, cheese) w/ ranch dressing.
Glass of water.
Best part about this was it was a cheap lunch day. With my discount lunch today was, 0.88.

Friday 09/07/2012 - Breakfast
I am not much of a breakfast person, and find it very hard to eat breakfast. So I had a Lipton Tea.

Cooked on the grill for dinner:
Probably not the healthest meal, but I had smaller portions.
Lime Pork Chops (x 1.5)
Small helping of chicken rice
Canned spinach.
Two glasses of moscato
Salad for lunch again today.

Starting at lunch time:

Medium Salad (olives, eggs, peppers, few fake bacon bits, cucumber, pepperoni) w/ Ranch Dressing
Small helping of cottage cheese
Water
I have also made it a point today to take the stairs everywhere at work. I normally did this anyway, because there is only two floors.
For my health, and family I will make this work this time.

HELP!
I have to do something. I am feeling fat again today, and everytime I try to change that I fail. I have decided again, that today is the day. No time for failure this time.
Going to start small this time.
Week 1 Goals: (starting today, but first week will be considered next week 9/10-9/17)
1. Eat healthier and smaller portions
2. Exercise 3 days.
I know it is a long way off, but I would like to get closer to what I was in high school. I know I did crazy things back then (backyard wrestling), but I was healthy and ripped.
This was taken about a month ago, and I am not happy with the away I look. Wish I was back to the old healthier me.
If you have any pointers, please let me know. I need all the help I can get.
