I have failed and failed some more on this weight loss thing, but I am bound to get it figured out. I can not find the motivation that I am lacking.
My best friend from High School, and still currently my best friend, has been working out and running. He has been actually running in some races.
He asked me to join him for the STL Tough Mudder, which was suppose to be in April. I had not started training when he called to say Tough Mudder got pushed back to September. But he did make me aware of the Sand Mine Challenge, but it is in Feb.
Needless to say, I would really like to run in both of them with him. He has been a great friend, and I do not get to spend much time with him. Would be great to run with him.
So I have some motivation now, hopefully. Really wanting to run in the one in Feb, and get in better shape so I can kick some ass in the Tough Mudder.
